Cheer Athletics is thrilled to announce that Co-Owner Brad Habermel has been named Team Manager of the Dallas team in the newly launched Varsity Pro Cheer League. Varsity Spirit revealed the news, and now Cheer Athletics proudly shares this milestone with the cheerleading community.
What is the Varsity Pro Cheer League?
The Varsity Pro Cheer League is the first professional cheerleading league of its kind, created by Varsity Spirit. With four city-based teams competing in a head-to-head format, the league brings professional-level visibility to athletes who’ve grown up in All Star cheer.
This is a momentous step forward. For decades, cheerleading has operated at elite levels without a true professional tier. The Varsity Pro Cheer League changes that. It offers athletes the chance to extend their careers, perform in high-level events, and be recognized on a national stage.
