About Us
Cheer Athletics Telford, England is proud to be the first international branch of Cheer Athletics. We provide high-quality cheerleading, dance, gymnastics and tumbling classes in Telford, Shropshire for boys and girls aged 3+.
We are also proud to be home to athletes featured on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT), including Marvinder Kang and Rosie Swinnerton. Following their success at the World Games in China, they were invited to audition, showcasing the strength, precision, and performance level developed right here in Telford.
Our athletes don’t just train, they perform at the highest level, from national competitions to global stages and appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, developing elite skills in cheerleading, tumbling, and dance.

Gym Hire
Located just minutes from the popular competition venue, Telford International Centre, Cheer Athletics Telford is the perfect place to book practice time around your events. Our facility is available for hire with a full sprung cheer floor, dead cheer floor, and both sprung and dead Harlequin dance floors — providing the ideal training space for teams looking to sharpen their routines before competition. Birthday Parties
Cheer Athletics Telford is proud to be launching Birthday parties! Because lets be real.. the world needs more CHEER! And what better way to celebrate then with pom-poms, stunts, games and sparkle? Cheer Athletics Telford is proud to be home to athletes featured on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT). From international success at the World Games to performing in front of the BGT judges, our athletes represent the highest level of cheerleading and performance dance in the UK.
Rosie and Marv on Britain’s Got Talent
Marvinder Kang and Rosie Swinnerton were invited to audition for Britain’s Got Talent following their success at the World Games in China. Representing Cheer Athletics Telford, they brought elite-level performance and stage presence to one of the UK’s biggest platforms.
The BGT Performance
What began as a duo performance quickly transformed into a full team routine, with members of the Dance Athletics Open Pom team joining Marv and Rosie on stage. With only two full team practices, the group delivered a powerful and synchronized performance at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Behind the Scenes
From rehearsals to backstage filming, the experience included interviews, technical run-throughs, and keeping the full team reveal a surprise until the final moment. the journey from Telford, Shropshire to the BGT stage was a unique and unforgettable experience for all involved.
Judges’ Reaction
The performance received a standing ovation from all four judges, including Simon Cowell. The panel praised the team’s timing, energy, and stage presence, highlighting the strength and potential of cheerleading and Pom dance in the UK.
