Overview
TEAM PLACEMENTS
When forming teams, we consider factors such as athlete skills, experience, and maturity. Team placement is primarily determined by birth year and skill level. Rosters are subject to change at any point and for any reason under coaches discretion. Initial team announcements will be sent via email on May 22nd. Final rosters will be determined by Choreography in July.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
The competition schedule varies by team. Most teams will attend competitions hosted both locally and nationally, with the opportunity to be invited to and to attend End-Of-Season Events (i.e., The Regional Summit, The Cheerleading Worlds, The Summit). The number of competitions per team will depend on events offered in the season. Competition schedules will be released in August 2026
TRAVEL EXPENSES
Travel expenses are not included in tuition. Athletes are required to book travel in accordance with any guidelines provided throughout the season.
Time Commitment
Participating in our All Star Cheer program is a 12-month commitment. During June and July, teams will have two weekly practices. A third weekly practice may begin for some teams in August and continue through May 2027.
Additional practices and extended practices will be scheduled during important times of the season. Athletes are expected to prioritize their participation in our program and fully commit to attending all scheduled practices.
Tryouts
Tryouts are designed to be a positive experience for athletes to showcase skills.
Each athlete will need to register for either a REGULAR TRYOUT session OR a REGULAR TRYOUT plus FLYER session. During tryout session athletes will be split into small groups. Each athlete will perform a jump sequence, running tumbling skills and standing tumbling skills for judges. Coaches will be there to assist younger and new athletes. Flyers will be asked to demonstrate body positions on the floor. Tryouts should be a no stress easy experience for all athletes.
Pre - Tryout Clinics will be held May 8th - May 13th. Specific times are listed in iClass portal under Camps - Emerald Coast Tryout Prep
Financial Commitment
Participating in All Star Cheer requires a significant financial commitment. It's important to carefully consider the investment involved. Tuition is divided into 12 monthly installments and is due on the first of each month. Billing begins in June 2026 and continues through May 2027. Tuition remains consistent from month to month and is payable online through our customer portal. Members are required to keep a valid credit or debit card on file. Tuition covers team training, regular season competition fees, and other nonrefundable expenses.
**Tuition also covers 30 min tumble only session per week

Half Season
Overview
Evaluations
All athletes must register for and attend an evaluation session. Sessions are 30 minutes with up to 6 kids per session. Athletes will be evaluated on their jump and tumble skills. No experience needed! A coach will help your athlete if they need assistance!
Team Placements

Athletes that tryout are typically selected for a team. Rosters, placement within routines, and participation, are subject to change at any point and for any reason under coaches' discretion. Team announcements will be sent to the email on file on October 26th!
Practice and Attendance
Participating in our Half Season All Star Cheer program is a 6 month commitment. Teams will practice 1-2 days per week depending on the division. Days and times will be determined when placing teams.
